Here is a photo of The Willard Hotel, a historic landmark located just steps away from the White House in Washington D.C.

I took this picture during my visit to Washington DC back in April 2011. Honestly I didn't know exactly what kind of building it was except that it was a beautiful thing to look at.

I later found out that the Willard has a rich history dating back to 1818, making it one of the oldest and most prestigious hotels in D.C.

The hotel has hosted countless notable figures and events over the years, including famous politicians, royalty, and influential leaders from around the world.

The Willard is definitely a great landmark to see on your next visit to Washington DC.
